PRAYER AND PRAISE Please pray that the Kindergarten operating in our facility would truly be a light to the community, and would be used by God to draw many people into His Kingdom. Please pray that the Lord would bring the perfect Kindy manager to fill that vitally important roll. Pray that the Table for 6 initiative will create wonderful moments, memories, and relationships in our church family. Praise the Lord for the prayer ministry being led in Seniors’ homes by Faye Lauaki. Please pray that she, and her team, would continue to minister powerfully in Jesus’ name! Pray that the Lord would be glorified around the world as millions of Christians remember His sacrifice on the cross and that the true gospel message would be preached. Praise the Lord that not only did He lay down His life to cleanse us of our sins but also to give us abundant life while we are living here on earth. Are you new to this facility? We know that it can take a lot of energy to attend a new church, so please note that: The Children’s Ministry begins part way through the service. This is for children between the ages of 3 13 years. Information on who we are, as well as on all of our ministries are available online at www.whac.net.nz Each week, we share a cuppa together after the service, and would love for you to stay for a chat. NEWS

Table for 6 Facebook is great. Gmail? I love it! But nothing compares with sitting down for a meal with friends and family from church. Table for 6 is a new initiative at WHAC to see that happen. Would you like to host a meal - while not preparing all the food? Please see Sally Skellon or Esther McKean. The Kindy Korner The church Kindy is off to a flying start, and would love to have the following goods donated: Yogurt pots Ice Cream containers Butter/margarine containers Plastic bags Non-perishable food to give to needy families Any help is greatly appreciated!

Kindy Ministry

One way that we are seeking to bless the community through the Kindy is to start a food bank for needy families in the Kindergarten (or known through the centre). To do so, a basket has been placed in the foyer for your donations of non-perishable food. Thank you so much for your support as we seek to make this Kindy a true reflection of the heart of Christ for West Harbour.

MEETINGS COMING UP:

Elders Board – 10 April 2013

Isaiah 53: 10 - 12

But it was the LORD’s good plan to crush Him and cause Him grief.

Yet when His life is made an offering for sin, He will have many descendants.

He will enjoy a long life, and the LORD’s good plan will prosper in His hands.

11 When He sees all that is accomplished by His anguish, He

will be satisfied. And because of His experience,

my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous,

for He will bear all their sins. 12

I will give Him the honours of a victorious soldier, because He exposed Himself to death.

He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.

Romans 10: 9 - 13

9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and

believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is by believing in your heart that you

are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.

11 As the Scriptures tell us,

“Anyone who trusts in Him will never be disgraced.”[e]

12

Jew and Gentile

[f] are the same in this respect. They have the

same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on Him. 13

For “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.”
