(Memorial Elementary) Mission Statement

Our mission at Memorial Elementary is that parents and teachers will work together as role

models to instill values which will create a positive environment conducive to learning. With

innovative strategies and high expectations, we will prepare our students to become productive,

responsible and successful citizens.

Technology Vision Statement

Memorial will use technology as one of many tools to improve learning opportunities for

students. The effective use of technology will support and strengthen our curriculum by

providing additional resources for instruction. The integration of technology as part of daily

instructions will further motivate our students as they strive for high academic achievement.

By integrating technology into the curriculum, we will prepare our students for the future.

Teachers will use H.E.A.T. to engage and develop student higher order thinking skills and

provide an authentic real world platform to apply their learning. Memorial will provide

technological resources physical and global to enhance instruction and engage student

learning. Memorial staff will be provided staff development to effectively incorporate

technology into curriculum in ways that engage student interest, participation and provide

authentic real world opportunities for them to demonstrate what they have learned.
