I have 24 years of teaching experience – all middle school – various subjects including music, computers, science, health, social studies, reading and of course, MATH (6th, 7th, and 8th grade)!

husband, Dan. Two children --- Taylor (19) is a

sophomore at NKU & Kendall (16) is a junior at Cooper High School.

Two cats --- Max and IzzyI stay VERY busy with my kid’s

activities but in my free time I like to cook, read, scrapbook, & take pictures.

Assignments & GradesAssignments & Grades I give TWO types of assignments --- exit slips or

practice (“batting cage”) and assessment (“game”). While some assignments will not receive a grade, EVERY assignment COUNTS.

Weekly quizzes (every Friday) are the same as a regular assignment.

Graded papers are kept in a folder in the classroom so that we may average our grades together. Parents are welcome to request that the folder be sent home for review at any time. (Please be sure to return it & all of the contents so we can continue to monitor our progress.)

Unit Tests will occur approximately every 2-3 weeks. Each will include Short Answer Questions and an Open Response Question. Study Guides will be provided.
