Mrs.Rosie and Mrs.Cilia KG1 explorers! April 6-9 Dear Parents: Welcome Back!!! Hope you had a fun Spring Break. We are so excited to have the kids back. Let the learning begin! Literacy Inquiry: We are going to be practicing with the formation of letter “Y”. We will decorate letter Y with yarn and other fun crafts. Our new sight word is “you”. Unit of Inquiry: Central idea : Exploring leads to discovery. In this unit we will be discussing that exploring with our 5 senses leads to discovering the world around us. This week the kids will explore using their sense of tasting and smelling. Home Connection: This week you can help the kids by practicing with them writing the numbers 1-10 correctly in different fun ways. Library day: Tuesday, April 7 th Math Inquiry: This week we will focus on writing numbers from 1-10 correctly. We will also be reviewing shapes and measurement, Important dates: April 21 st – Early Dismissal at 11am April 28 th - KG 1 Spring Show Field Trip to Sultan Center Hawalli on Thursday, April 9 th from 12:45-2:15.
