The URL is short, simple and related to the name of the university.2- Download time:

It takes 11.11s to load and it’s slower than 88% of all tested websites.

I have used bingdom tool to check the university Website’s Downloading Speed / Time.

3- Look and feel:The website looks clear and readable, the images size is good and the colors not hard to look at.

4- Need to download software:PNU don’t ask for downloading sw.

5- Home page on one screen (above the fold)PNU website need to scroll down on the home page

6- Contact details:The website provides a contact us page. Also, the present the Twitter & Facebook accounts.

7- Credential validationThe website is not supplying identity information to the visitors to make them trust it. So the connection to PNU website is not encrypted.

8- Are users made to register to get into site?The website do not force the users to register.

NAVIGATION

1- Ease of use:The website has an ease to use navigation system, that’s provide a direct access to the contents of the website.

2- Site map:The website provide a map to the university that’s names each part of it. The site map to the website pages that presents each page in the website are provided in different name called “Website structure”. It’s not good to use the site map for different purpose.

3- Return to Home Page from any page:There is a link in each page to return to the home page.

4- Internal search engine:The PNU website provides an internal search engine.

5- Navigational links visible:The navigational links are visible in all pages of the website.

6- Using Frames:The website don’t use frames, PNU use one page to represent the content.

CONTENT

1- Useful information:All the information presented by the website is useful and clear, and the animation & graphics related to the topic.

2-   Degree of substantiated information: Authority :

Only the authorized people who has authorized by the university management can publish information on the PNU website

3- Level of interaction:The website present the topics supported by graphics, It’s has a little interactive with users.

4- Use of valuable graphics:The graphics support the contents represented.

5- Use of valuable animation:The website don’t use animation for no purpose, they have a valuable animations.

6- Use of valuable sound:They don’t use background sounds.

7- Content in digestible quantity:

The content chunked into parts, they don’t make the text so long to need scrolling.

8- Up-To-Date:The data is up-to-date.

9- Available in Multiple Languages:The website has to language available: Arabic & English.

10- Accessibility for disabled people.They don’t provide an access way to disabled people.

11- FAQ’s:The website FAQ’s don’t introduce the web contents to unfamiliar user.
