Home Learning for Nursery (FS1) Week beginning Monday 23 rd November 2020. Disney Week Good Morning Everyone! This week in Nursery our sound of the week is 'd'. Please encourage your child to find things around the house beginning with the sound 'd'. Maybe you could draw a picture of your favourite D isney character or have a dance off with your family. Our number this week is Number '9'. Again please encourage your child to count up to 10 and beyond, count different objects around the house as well as different actions like jumping and clapping. In Nursery we also use ‘El Nombre’ to teach the children how to write the numbers, the video link is attached below. Number Block 9 is a square like Number Block 4, can you find different sized squares around your house or even look for a variety of different shapes around your home. Below are the links to the Jolly phonics song and Number Blocks episodes that will support your child’s Phonic and Number learning. Please also look out for videos that will be uploaded onto Class Dojo to help support your child’s learning at home.
