Methodist College offers a program designedt'0 enable students to prepare for active and successful living as Christian citizens in the twentieth century. Through its academic program, social functions, concerts and lectures and extracurricular activities, the college strives t'0 giveits students, in a distinctively Christian atmosphere, every opportunity to train the mind, strengthen the will, discipline the emoti'0ns,kindle the imagination, cultivate the conscienceand build up the body. While we cannot claim.1'0 obtain these 'Objectives completely, we domake an earnest and constant effort to that end.We believe that education should be concernedwith teaching people how. to live as well as howto make a living.

The most important single consideration in anyc'0llege is the faculty. The strength and qualityof Methodist Col1ege's academic program re,stswith its hIgh quality faculty. The faculty-student

ratio at Metlrodist Oollege is 1·15, providin,g acrose relationship which may be observed in thefreedom of academic exchange as well as through

~aculty, student as'sociatilons in the dining hall, on
