Where does our water come from?

Natural water comes from rivers and lakes and goes into

Dams, then, it undergoes a procees where it becomes

drinkable, called ETAP (Drinkable water treatment

station).

The used water is evacuated by

canalizations to sewers and thenit's taken to the EDAR (Residual water treatment

station)

The objectives in the “depuration station” are:

·Eliminate solids and oxidable materials

·Eliminate toxic substances to avoid environmental damage and sanitary problems

Useful advice

It's better to have a shower than a bath

Install water-saving systems

Use the washing machine only when it's full

Don't use the WC as a bin

If you have a garden, control the irrigation

Close the faucet when shaving or cleaning your teeth
