    Its nearly 200 years since the rst Shiraz vines were planted in Australian soil and bless their juicy heart, weve loved the grapes they produce ever since. Shiraz is the great Aussie red grape, the sa est bet in Australian red wine. Warm-climate, cool-climate, coastalor inland Shiraz just seems to grow well and tastes good as a result. Better still, Shiraz refects the place its grown better than mostgrape varieties do. Grown in warm climates like the Barossa Valley, Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale and Shiraz o ten tasteswonder ully sweet and feshy, plump and juiced up with yummy goodness. Grown in cool areas like the Grampians and the Yarra

    Valley and it can be spicy, savoury, even a little bit autumnal. Its not so much a matter o pre erence rom there, as occasion.
