Call Forwarding

Incomplete Off Premise Call Forward Does Not Route To MailboxIf the Automated Attendant transfers a call to an extension that is forwarded off premise, and there are no outbound trunks available, the call will go to the called extension’s mailbox. In prior soft-ware versions, the call could not route to the extension’s mailbox because of incorrect protocol pro-vided during the recall.

Caller ID Logging

Corrupt Caller ID Record Resets SystemSoftware version 02.11.03 corrects a problem in prior versions in which viewing a corrupt Caller ID record would reset the system. The user can now view the record (like any other Caller ID record) and the system will not reset.

Extension Hunting

System Reset After Aborted UCD CallThe following reset problem is fixed in software version 02.11.03:

● A single line extension user (or Voice Mail port) dials a UCD Hunting Group master number.

● When the call is ringing a member of the UCD group, the user hookflashes.

● The user then dials a busy extension.

● The system resets.

Paging

Continued Ring Over Page After OverflowSoftware version 02.11.03 corrects a problem in version 02.11.00 that caused trunk ringing over the external paging port to continue after the call was terminated. This would occur when:

● 0202-Page Ring Source = T (8).

● 0203-UNA Ring Over External Page = 1 (Ring always)

● 1003-Activate Overflow During the Day = Y (9).

● The trunk rings and eventually overflows.

● - Before an extension user answers the call, the outside caller hangs up. The trunk will con-tinue to ring the external paging port until the system is reset. (The trunk is left in the External Paging queue.)OR- If the overflow is unanswered and the call diverts to Key ring, the trunk will continue to ring until the system is reset.

Software Corrections in 02.11.03

Continued Ring Over Page After OverflowSoftware version 02.11.03 corrects a problem in prior versions that caused trunk ringing over the external paging port to continue after the call was terminated. This would occur when:

● In 1003-Direct Termination Day, the trunk is assigned to Key Ring.

● 1003-Activate Overflow During the Day is enabled (Y).

● 1003-Day Overflow Destination is 700.

● 0202-Page Ring Source is T (8).

● 0203-UNA Ring Over Page is 1 (ring always).

● The call rings in and overflows to voice mail.

● If the caller hangs up before voice mail answers, External Paging will ring continuously until the system is reset.

Park

Parked Call Recalls To Voice MailSoftware version 02.11.03 corrects the following problem when using Personal Park:

● In 1807-Hunt Type and 1807-Hunt Destination, set up a Terminal Hunt to Voice Mail (700).

● A co-worker on a trunk call uses Personal Park to park the call at the extension.

● If the call is not picked up, it eventually is answered by Voice Mail and the caller hears, “That mailbox does not exist.”

● The call routes to the Automated Attendant.

In software version 02.11.03, the unanswered parked call will eventually go to Key Ring and will never be answered by Voice Mail.

System Programming Backup And Restore

Cannot Save New Database To Used Database BlockWhen using 9906-Database Save to save the current database, you can specify an unused or used address for the data. Saving to a used address would overwrite the data already stored in that loca-tion. In prior 02.11.** versions, you could only save to a new address. This is corrected in software version 02.11.03.

Voice Mail

Cannot Transfer Call To User’s Own MailboxAn extension user can transfer their active call to their own mailbox by doing the following:

1. Press ICM.

2. Press MW.

3. Dial their own mailbox number.

4. Hang up.

In prior versions of 02.11.**, the caller would hear error tone and the transfer would not go through.

Caller ID

New DSP Code To Fix Caller ID Related System Reset ProblemSoftware version 02.11.04 provides a correction to the system’s DSP code that corrects a bug in theCaller ID Transmitter. The bug could potentially cause system resets and loss of other DSP resources (such as DTMF detection). Note that system processes involving the Caller ID Transmit-ter include:

● Sending Caller ID data to a single line extension (if the extension is programmed to receive Caller ID).

● Sending FSK Message Waiting signals to a single line extension (if the extension is pro-grammed to receive FSK Message Waiting).
