User Guide of VidOn Server VidOn Server is designed as a digital media management solution. After adding a new path from your server to the VidOn Server, it will automatically scan all media resources and categorize them as Movies, TV Shows, Videos or Pictures, taking the burden of library management off of you. 1. Installation 1.1 Download installation program to install, and the download link is:http://www.vidon.me/vidonme_media_server.htm 1.2 Run the installation program, and choose language and path. If you select “VidOn Server”, after the installation finished, the program will start automatically and the Web management page will be opened. 2. User Guide of VidOn Server

VidOn Server is designed as a digital media management solution. After adding a new path from your server to the VidOn Server, it will

automatically scan all media resources and categorize them as Movies, TV Shows, Videos or Pictures, taking the burden of library management

1. Installation

1.1 Download installation program to install, and the download link is:http://www.vidon.me/vidonme_media_server.htm

1.2 Run the installation program, and choose language and path. If you select “VidOn Server”, after the installation finished, the program will

start automatically and the Web management page will be opened.

2. Add a Media Source

2.1 Open Web management page of VidOn Server in either way of the following:

a. Launch VidOn Server, right click to select “Sever Manager” to open the Web management page.

b. Run VidOn Server, and input http://127.0.0.1:31080/ into the browser, to visit the Web management page via IP address and Port.

2.2 Click “Add” in “Media Library”. Input media name (the name can be empty), choose media type & path, click “OK” to complete the adding.

After that, you can view the added media resource using connected mobile devices like Phone or Pad.

3. Sever Settings

Open the Web management page of the server, and you can do relevant settings in “System Settings”.

Server Status: Here you can view server info including server name, current version, IP address and Port number, etc.

General: Here you can go to set the server name, language of the Web page, whether allowing other computers to access Web management page,

and whether starting the server upon Windows startup.

Media Library: Here you can set the frequency for auto updating of the media library, and the language for the movie info.

Upgrade: Here you can get the update info and upgrade.
