We also made a fun class book of Season similes! Part of our discussion about Fall was why leaves change colors and fall off of the trees. A favorite Fall story was Leaf Trouble . We used the story to complete a story map. This was also Fire Safety Week! The Tipp City Firefighters told us how to be safe and we got to walk through the big fire truck! Do you have a family meeting place outside of your home in case of a fire? We reviewed some of the subtraction skills in Chapter 2. On Friday, we started chapter 3 and will work with addition strategies for about 3 weeks.
