Week in ReviewWhat is square, orange and grows on a vine? Spookley, the square pumpkin! We watched the movie “Spookley, the Legend of the Square Pumpkin”. After watching, we read the book and compared the two. We made our own Spookley and wrote to describe what it looked like. We became scientists and made predictions on whether or not our pumpkin seeds will grow after we carved the pumpkin and scooped out the squishy inside. We also tried to estimate the number of seeds. Did you know each line on a pumpkin is a row of seeds? We can’t wait to discover what happens to our little seeds by observing them in our sprout and grow window! We have been working hard at practicing our play lines for our fall plays next Friday.
