Forgiveness Meditation

Forgiving is one of the most important requirements for a healthy body, and a healthy soul. Forgiving means to let go of old grief and unpleasant feelings that are holding you back and are preventing you from moving forward in life.

In this Forgiveness Meditation I will guide you back in time, to situations you need to let go of. You will re-live the situation once more, and forgive the people that caused you pain.

The reason you have to let go of these situations is that the chemical makeup of the body gets negatively affected by staying in negative emotions over past events.

Therefore, it is very important to go back mentally, and to realize what it is that is causing you the resentment, to re-evaluate it from today’s perspective, and to let it go.

You will also forgive yourself for causing pain to others, which is often a deep-seated and unrecognized source of resentment.

Sometimes a person you wish to forgive is no longer alive. In this case, it is even more important to go back in time mentally and to forgive.

Realizing that these negative emotions are holding you back enables you to rid yourself from them. Then you will be able to start a new phase in life, one in which the body and the mind are free of old negativity.

This meditation is vitally important because this emotional and mental pain is causing you physical problems. For example, by doing this meditation, many people lose extra pounds that they have been trying to get rid of for years by forgiving, since the weight is only the body’s physical protection from emotional pain of the past.

Emotional pain is carried deep within the belly area, and through eliminating the pain most people experience a sense of lightness, a straighter body posture, and loss of weight.

When holding grief toward someone for a long period of time people often refuse to see the truth, and their vision gets negatively affected. People often try to avoid thinking about their painful experiences in the past and their eyesight worsens because they literally blind themselves from seeing it.

So, forgiving and moving forward will improve your health, your life, and especially your eyesight.

During this meditation you will imagine yourself in a cinema watching the movie of your life. As the movie progresses, you will eventually see clips of certain situations where you would like to forgive someone, or to ask someone for forgiveness. At this point you will enter the movie and do so.

At the end you will re-visit the house of your childhood, meet yourself as a little child, and make peace with yourself. Please DO NOT imagine your kids or your grand kids! This meditation is about you, so imagine yourself.

Every time you perform the meditation focus on the first person you feel an urge to engage with. After finishing you will know if you truly forgave that person, by feeling lighter within yourself, something disappeared. If there is still a heavy feeling left toward that person, please perform the meditation multiple times with that person until the heavy feeling disappears. Then move on to the next person. Allow a one-day rest before doing the meditation again.

PLEASE ALLOW 3 HOURS BETWEEN DOING THE EXERCISE AND GOING TO SLEEP!
