Submission Guidelines

TV2 CRAWLER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The TV2 Crawler is a text-based marquee that runs along the bottom of the channel when airing the

Bulletin, a PowerPoint slideshow that runs several times a day, and most video content. The crawler

should only be used for high-visibility items like large-scale road/facility closures, traffic delays or

disseminating emergency information.

TEMPLATE/GUIDELINES

Messages should be less than 2 sentences total since viewers will not remember the entire message if

it is too long.

Keep it simple and to the point. Refer people to a phone number or website if needed.

Complete DA 3903 Multimedia/Visual Information Work Order online at www.vios-

west.army.mil (attach email confirmation of successful work order submission)

Crawler text (in addition to entering it in the online form)
