Tram Crash News Story Script

At 6 o’clock this evening just outside of exchange quay a Metrolink Tram crashed into a car. The tram was full of passengers when the collision

occurred.

‘I was just on my way home and all of a sudden the tram just stopped, I didn’t know what had happened until I started hearing people talking about the tram

crashing’

Nobody on board the tram was injured and the 23 year old car driver suffered minor injuries. Passengers have been warned that the incident will cause some

delays over the next few days until the services can return to normal.
