BACKGROUND:BACKGROUND:

Today, Organisations consider it essential to train their employees in the Basics of 

Management. Often, employees, who due to the nature of their technical /

commercial skills, are actively engaged in their work and do not get the opportunity

to formally study or understand Management. Moreover, organizations do not find

the time or the money to send their employees for a formal training in Management.

Nevertheless, organizations consider it vital that their employees understand the Basics of Management so that

their effectiveness at the workplace is greatly enhanced. Therefore it is essential that the employee continues

to Work and Learn at the same time.

OBJECTIVE:OBJECTIVE: 

The objective is to deliver a series of 13 E-Learning Modules on various areas in “Management Basics” that

enables learners to learn while they work. The learner has the opportunity to access these courses on his

desktop computer and has one full month to go though each one of the E Learning Modules.

Thus at the end of 13 months, the learner is enabled to complete all 13 E Learning Modules that encompass

areas in Management Basics.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Each E Learning Module consists of various Chapters, and starts with a course overview.

Each chapter starts with clearly defined Learning Objectives and ends with a recap of the

chapter followed by a Chapter end interactive Quiz. At the end of all these chapters the

learner needs to complete an end of Module Assessment which is tracked and recorded.

As soon as the Learner successfully completes all 13 E Learning Modules, (in 13 Months) as

evidenced by the learners score on the end of Module assessments, the Learner gets a

Certificate from the TMM E Academy.

The Learner is permitted to go through each course any number of times during the month in which it iskept open before he takes on the End of Module Assessment.

The Learner is permitted to take the End of Module Assessment any number of times during the month in

which it is kept open till he secures the qualifying score needed for certification.

The scores for the End of Module Assessment is displayed immediately after the Assessment.

LEARNER WORK LOAD:LEARNER WORK LOAD:

Learner completes successfully ONE e-Learning Module and assessment allocated for that

month. Learner goes on to successfully complete all 13 e-Learning Modules and assessments over 13 months.

On successful completion of all 13 Modules and assessments the Learner will receive a Certificate from the TMM

E- Academy.

Each E Learning Module is designed focused on the Learner who

typically is a technical diploma holder/ graduate having

basic English Language skills.

Each E Learning Module is a stand-alone and is provided with a

Glossary, self- sufficient Related Reading along with an English

Language Voiceover and an audio transcript.

Each E Learning Module is designed using key principles of 

Instructional Design, so that the Learner is always kept

engaged and the Learner Retention is very high.

The Learner is permitted to go through each course any numberof times before he takes on the End of Course Assessment.

The Learner is permitted to take the End of Module Assessment

any number of times till

He scores the qualifying score needed for certification.

The qualifying score for each end of Module Assessment is 6 on 10.

The Learner gets 10 randomly generated questions from a question bank that he needs to answer

within 15 minutes as a part of the End of Module Assessment.

The score for the End of Module Assessment is displayed immediately after the Assessment is completed

by the Learner.

The Learner gets to bookmark the last visited chapter to facilitate easy re-entry.

The Learner can access the Module and the assessment from any desktop with an Internet Access.

Each E Learning Module is of 4 E Learning Hours duration.

An E Mail Based back end Help desk is provided to the Learner to clarify all issues and resolve all

problems.

The organization gets a monthly report detailing the progress of its learners.

The end of course Certification awarded to the Learner after 13 months can be a Retention Tool for the

Organization that opts for this Learning methodology.

The same Certification is a permanent asset to the learner.

4. The uniquely designed Carousel Model of E

Learning Delivery enables the new Learner to startwith the starter Module on “ Basics of Business”,irrespective of which month the learner joins the

learning loop. Then the Learner is moved to the “ ELearning Module of the Month” and goes on tocomplete all 13 E Learning Modules in 13 months.

5. Therefore for an organization, every employee

that joins them has the opportunity to learn
