INNOVATIONS IN DIGESTIVE CARE
Course GoalsThe annual educational cornerstone of the Society for Therapeutic and Surgical Endoscopy (S4TSE), this three-day course will inform participants of updates in innovations for the management of gastrointestinal diseases. The program will offer a forum to discuss optimal approaches between endoscopic and surgical management in the setting of these new technologies and procedures. Internationally recognized faculty will address issues in current clinical practice, adverse events and pitfalls of newer technologies and the evolution of the field. Attendee participation and interaction will be emphasized and facilitated through Q&A sessions, live OR and interactive case presentations and hands-on tissue lab demonstrations.
Learning Objectives• Identify advances in therapeutic
endoscopic procedures for the management of acid and esophageal motility disorders
• Discuss the management of acute recurrent and chronic pancreatitis
• Recognize advances in therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound
• Define updates in the diagnosis and management of GI diseases affecting the areas of motility, hepatology, and surgical perspectives on diseases of the GI tract

AccreditationThis activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and the Society for Therapeutic and Surgical Endoscopy. The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
