DAY 4 – Bratislava, SlovakiaThe day begins with an included walkingtour of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.See the enchanting Old City with its MainSquare, Town Hall, Mirbach Palace and theGothic Cathedral of St. Martin. DAY 5 – Vienna, Austria Discover all Vienna has to offer with an in-cluded orientation tour. Travel by coach tothe city center and drive along theRingstrasse to see the impressive OperaHouse, famous concert halls, stately architec-ture and historic monuments. Afterwards,your guide leads you on a walking tourthrough the city center. This afternoon, joinan optional excursion to Belvedere Palace.This evening, join an optional excursion to amusical concert in one of the famous musicvenues of the city. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 6 – Dürnstein and Melk, Austria Awaken this morning in the medieval townof Dürnstein – ‘The Pearl of the Wachau Val-ley’ - dominated by the magnificent BaroqueStiftskirche. The ruins of KuenringerburgCastle, which served as a prison to England’sRichard the Lionheart, can be seen on thehilltop. You’ll have free time in to discoverthe charms of this picturesque town. Laterthis morning, enjoy the breathtaking sceneryof the Wachau Valley while cruising alongthe Danube before arriving in Emmersdorf,the port for Melk. On an included excur-sion, visit the magnificent 900-year-old Bene-dictine Abbey, a UNESCO World HeritageSite, which boasts an opulent Baroque inte-rior. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 7 – Salzburg, Austria (optional excursion) OR Passau, Germany From a brief stop in Brandstatt, depart on theoptional excursion to Salzburg to see sightsfrom The Sound of Music and walk along thefamous Getreidegasse Lane past Mozart’sbirthplace. After some free time, the coachreturns to the ship in Vilshofen. Those notjoining the optional excursion will have anincluded walking tour in Passau to explorethe narrow alleys and visit St. Stephen’sCathedral, home of Europe’s largest pipeorgan, and rejoin the ship by coach in Vil-shofen. DAY 8 – Regensburg, GermanyAfter breakfast, explore Regensburg on aguided walking tour. During a stroll throughthe historic center, a UNESCO World Her-itage Site, experience its beauty and history

firsthand. Travel by coach to Kelheim to re-join the ship and continue sailing to Nurem-berg. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 9 – Nuremberg, GermanyAfter breakfast, disembark the ship andenjoy a panoramic tour of Nuremberg. Yourlocal guide will explain the importance ofthis city during the war as you pass thecourthouse where the Nazi War Trials wereheld. Upon arrival in the city center, begin awalking tour through the Altstadt (oldtown). The guide will lead you through thismedieval city as you pass the amazing archi-tecture, fortifications and stone towers frompast centuries, including the Schöner Brun-nen – Nuremberg’s star attraction: the gilded‘Beautiful Fountain’ with its tiers of intri-cately carved figures. At the end of the tour,free time is provided for lunch on your ownprior to the journey to Prague for a two-night stay. Meals: B

DAY 10 – PragueAfter breakfast, an included tour highlightsthe famous sites of this beautiful city. SeeOld Town Square with its astronomical clockand the medieval Charles Bridge. During freetime this afternoon, continue discovering thecity on your own or join the optional excur-sion to Terezin Concentration Camp. Meal: B

DAY 11 – Prague / USABid a fond farewell to Europe and returnhome with wonderful memories of life en-riching experiences from your cruise alongthe Danube River. Meal: B
