    #rainers :ichard and 7hil were ecellent at guiding the groupthrough an informatie+ enabling and practical session+coering such emergenc$ life support s'ills as =7: combinedwith the safe and effectie use of the 3eartsine pad 5447*utomated ?ternal Defibrillator % the same t$pe as issituated outside the #atworth emorial 3all.

    #he course also coered dealing with cho'ing in adults andchildren+ as well as how to recognise the differences betweena heart attac' and a =ardiac arrest+ where prompt action is

    necessar$.

    ?leen people successfull$ completed the course and gainedtheir certificates and for those interested in another course

    it will cost 015.44 per person+ and we would welcome allages from teenagers upwards.

    and seen isitors. 8ic' 3eal was our demonstrator and underthe title of K=hristmas at 3omeL he presented si designs. 3isfoliage included phormium leaes+ eucal$ptus+ senecio+spotted laurel and the unusual acanthus. 8ic' showed us howhe plaited phormium leaes ma'ing roses and narrow and wideplaited leaes. #hese were er$ effectie and wereincorporated into his designs. 3is flowers were beautiful andthe$ included old fashioned roses+ large carnations+ bird ofparadise+ rose hip berries+ gold and green chr$sants+ orientallilies+ -ingapore orchids+ lisianthus and man$ more. 8ic' alsoshowed us seasonal decorations he had made from dog wood+cones and the best was the reindeer (full siJe) from willow.*ll the designs were beautiful and in her ote of than's 7atti&arnes said what an en,o$able afternoon 8ic' had gien us.
