Multilateral Call 2015
• The EUREKA Application Form describes the transnational
project, lists the partners and defines how they are going to
work together.
• The EUREKA Application Form is not at the same time a
funding application.
• Funding is organized on national basis.
Please check the conditions in your country. Additional
documentation or a separate funding application might be
required.

Procedure
• The project outline should provide information to the
national offices to check basic issues like eligibility of the
proprosal and the project partners.
Participation the project outline phase is not compulsory
but highly recommended.
• The check and the evaluation of applications are
organised by the EUREKA national offices and/or the
national funding bodies.
• If all involved countries have evaluated positively, the
project shall be endorsed for the EUREKA label
(EUREKA High Level Group).

• Participation of other countries
At least two E!DI-countries are needed within the frame of
this call
Further participants from other EUREKA or third countries
may be project partners - provided they have secured
financing of their project parts.
• In the case of unavailability of public funding, participants
may self fund their project part.

Two possible funding programmes could be:
• Upcoming ZIM Programme: Expected to re-open around early May, draft
design is published on website http://www.zim-bmwi.de/ (in German
only). Focused on SMEs, it is strongly recommended to contact ZIM for
consultation before handing in an application.
• KMU Innovativ: addresses SMEs as well, seven main focus areas (Bio-Tech,
Nano-Tech, ICT, Production Technologies, Resource and Energy Efficiency,
Optical Technologies, civil security research). Two evaluation dates per

• Thematic programmes, if conditions match.
