How will you bear more Fruit in 2017?
We are constantly in the process of being sanctified by God to be made
more Holy and to be more like Jesus. How will your life look different
in 2017? We all need to praying to display more fruit than last year.
What is it that God is working on your heart? How might God be
asking you to obey him? What area do you need your LIFE group to
hold you accountable to grow and submit to God’s Word? Consider
these areas to begin your New Year:
1. Pray—Pray regularly for the salvation of lost friends and family
members.
2. Join a L.I.F.E. group– Regularly participate in ONE group either on
Sunday Morning (On-campus) or throughout the week (Off-campus).
There are two starting in January maybe God wants you to be
connected there.
3. Commit to Invest in 1 person’s life and Share the Gospel a year.
Spend time at a coffee shop with a friend, visit a loved one, serve a
neighbor with the purpose of sharing the gospel with them.
4. Invite others regularly to Church– Weekly inviting people to be
your guest.
5. Serve in a new area.—Find a new place to serve in the life of the
church. Let god use your gifts to bring Him glory and minister to your
church family.
6. Go on Mission!- Either visit one of our church planters in Cincy or
plan to go to Salt Lake City in the summer or to India in May.
7. Give Financially – Get on a budget so you and your family can give
to the mission of Hebron Baptist Church. Not only does our budget
support missionaries but it also restores families through biblical
counseling, disciples children in the gospel, and ministers to the need of
the community. Plus we will being our 2020 Fund to start capital
improvements and begin saving for expansion of our buildings. God
can be glorified through your finances this year.
Whatever step God is calling you to make do it in full obedience to God
and bring him glory in 2017. I will be praying for you and look forward
to seeing ho God moves among us.

L.I.F.E. GROUPS We believe that God has given us the blessing of community to grow as
His disciples. We need to pray, encourage, and lead one another to be
faithful to Christ. We cannot do that by sitting in a large group alone,
we need to be in smaller groups for biblical fellowship and discipleship.
Two new groups beginning the week of January 29th. Pray about join-
ing one of these new opportunities:
Tuesday night off campus LIFE group at the Home of Pastor
Shawn and Sarah Dobbins
Sunday morning on campus LIFE group led by Chris Richard dur-
ing the 9:30am time slot
If you are interested, please see Chris or Shawn for more information
We would like to open additional groups throughout the year with
several starting in September 2017. If you are interested in leading a
LIFE group, please see Chris Richard for more information."
Leadership Meeting for ALL Committee Members January15th 4-5pm
If you serve on the Building and Grounds, Constitution, Finance,
Personnel, or Trustee Committees plan to be at this important
meeting as we prepare for a busy and exciting 2017.
Youth
I am excited to begin 2017 with 180 student ministries!
We have a very busy next couple of months. We are
started a new series called “I’m in”. We will be talking
about what it looks like to be all in for Jesus and fully
committed to him. The youth leadership team is back
at it starting in January. They are eager to serve the
community and their school. Sunday Night Life will be
on the 2nd and 4th Sundays for 2017. We will eat to-
gether, read Scripture together and pray together. I am
eager to see what the Lord will do this year.
Missions
God has done great things through our church related
to missions. The Lottie Moon offering that was given
to missionaries all over the world was very encourag-
ing! Our church is so generous! Pastor Shawn and I are
taking a vision trip with the IMB to London this
month. Be praying for the missionaries there and what
the Lord might have our church do to help the advance
of the gospel in the United Kingdom. The college stu-
dents also attended Cross conference in December. It
was an awesome mission’s conference. Be praying for
the students and those that feel compelled to go to the
mission field!
