THE 5 PILLARS

• The first pillar of faith is Shahadah, the profession

(declarations) of faith.

SHAHADAH

• The second pillar of faith is Salat, daily ritual

prayer.

SALAT

• The third pillar of faith is zakat, or almsgiving.

(Giving to those in need)

ZAKAT

The fourth pillar of faith is Siyam, or fasting (Going

without food).

SIYAM

The fifth pillar of faith is Hajj, the pilgrimage to the

holy city of Makkah (Mecca).
