Terms and Conditions of Enrolment

July

Week 1Monday

13 JulyLessons begin. ABC Office will email you the timetables for Term 31- Leave enrolment forms at the school office2- Get a Specialist TT from school/s & read the Term Calendar at the staff room. Most schools also have a calendar on their website check for activities on your teaching day!3- Give the book/s to new students and mark them off on the book list. 4- Remember to mark/date their homework on their books every lesson.

* Decide group songs for the Term 4 concerts at your schools if you havent done so

Week 2Monday

20 July

Wed 22This week if you have not done so in week 1 move students to a new individual piece! Choose some students to learn national anthem for assembly if havent already

When picking up kids from classroom remind other students there are still spots for term 3!

Week 3Monday

27 JulyDuring this week you will receive an updated timetable and booklist which should be the final timetable for term 2. Incorporate technology in your lessons ie ipad or youtube video

Have you organized any assembly performances or show and tell for their class?

August

Week 4Monday

3 Aug

Wed 5Please make sure that you use Famous & Fun Pop books as an Individual piece!

Guitar and band Instruments use your method books.

Have you put ABC flyers/posters up around the school?

Week 5Monday

10 Aug*** Mid of term! Check your timetables (TT) to see if any students have missed more than 2 classes during this term and organize make up lessons!, please ensure that each student receives a minimum of 8 lessons this Term!

Run free trial lessons at recess/lunch to gain new students. MAKE THEM FUN!!Check the school calendar in the staff room! Are there any Camps/excursions in Term3?

Week 6Monday

17 Aug

Wed 19Revision week Review material taught this term, as a Home Work to ask students to review the last 3 pieces (please write this on their book)

Music theory reiterate note reading and music notation in a group activity ie flash cards etcEmail your invoice for teaching period Mon 10 Aug Fri 21 August

Week 7Monday

24 AugEnsure that you plan to cater for an early finish on the last day of term. All required lessons for Fri 18 September must be taught and you may need to do some double lessons next week or week 9 to make up for lessons

Week 8Mon 31 Aug

Wed 2 For schools who will have their concert in October or early November , please run a mock concert, perhaps keep the next group few minutes more so groups play in front of each other

Week 9Mon 7 SepLast 2 weeks make your lessons more fun or relaxed by introducing a new game, a new group song or any activity which will be new for any groupssomething New & FUNClass Visits during this week. Visit each classroom and hand out enrolment forms to prospective students and leave forms at the school office as well.

Week 10Monday

Last week of term, go around to each classroom again collecting or handing out enrolment forms. Ensure you take some enrolment forms with youEmail your invoice for teaching period Mon 7 Sep Fri 18 September. Email all timetables form term 3 including CRT Timetables
