• As you can see from the statistics the ratio of males to females that went to go and see ‘The Conjuring’ is almost even.

• However, the majority of people who went to go and see ‘The Conjuring’ is female.

• The highest percentage (69%) in age that saw this movie was 15-24 year olds.

• Only 17% were aged 25-34• Only 9% were aged 35-44• This proves that the average person that went to go

and see ‘The Conjuring’ was a female aged between 15-24.

• As you can see from ‘Annabelle’ the statistics are very similar to ‘The Conjuring’.

• 56% of people that saw the ‘Annabelle’ were female and 46% that saw the movie were male.

• The age of viewers seeing ‘Annabelle’ is also similar to ‘The Conjuring’

• 15-24 = 59%• 25-34 = 24%• 35-44 = 8%• 45+ = 9%•••

• Researching the viewer’s for these two movie’s that are very similar to our own has helped us to find out our target audience and what kind of people they will probably be

• From research I can conclude that our target audience will most likely be females aged 15-24.

• This is why we have chosen to have a female antagonist and a female protagonist.
