From all our historic military conflicts the museum has retained smallarms (infantry weapons), aiding the understanding of our enemies. Thisis a fantastic opportunity to view rare small arms from around theworld.

Any young engineers fancy themselves as an after dinner speaker? Some greats started presenting to small groups.An opportunity for up to 8 young engineers and students aged between18 and 25 to present to a small audience and also an opportunity forthe audience to watch and question the views of the next generation ofengineers.

Each presentation lasts for fifteen minutes including questions. Thereare prizes of £150 and £100 for 1st and 2nd places and a years IETmembership. The winner of the local competition can progressthrough further rounds to the global final with a prize of £1000.
