Super Simple Scarf The simplest of scarf patterns knit completely in garter stitch. Optional pockets add a fun function to this classic accessory. Can be knit in either worsted weight or super bulky yarn. FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 7” x 36” (or desired length) MATERIALS BY YARN WEIGHT Worsted: US 8 needles, 480-510 yds. Super Bulky: US 13 needles, 400-600 yds. GAUGE BY YARN WEIGHT Worsted: 18 sts x 32 rows = 4” Super Bulky: 10 sts x 19 rows = 4” INSTRUCTIONS Worsted (Super Bulky) Cast on 36 (18) stitches. Knit every row, joining a new skein of yarn when needed. Knit until 36” long or, for a longer scarf, continue joining skeins and knitting until you reach the desired length. Bind off.
