Men's Group (Church Library) - “From Whom Do You Think You Came?” A three week study on Genesis 5 - 11. Followed by "Is This the End?" This is a 10 lesson study by Dr. David Jeremiah. It explores the question, "Is this the end time?"

Adult Class (FLC) - "Fire on the Mountain" - In this ninth volume of the "Faith Lessons" series, taught by historian and teacher Ray Vander Laan, discover how God teaches the Israelites what it means to be part of a community that loves him and the lessons we can begin to live out in our lives today. VBS UPDATE Vacation Bible School will be held June 26-30, and we need you to make this outreach ministry a success. Our VICTORY VBS table is NOW in the Narthex, outside the Church office. We are still in need of a tech leader! Also team leaders are STILL needed, which can be entering grade 9 and up! These spots are essential for our program to run! Leaders take groups of children around to the various activities.

It’s time for snack donations and enrollment!!

Please visit the table to see how you can help with snacks!

Enrollment forms are available at the table, or online at STLCfamily.org. When complete, forms can be dropped at the table.

This year we are excited to offer our VBS as a FREE event for members and the community! We are asking for monetary donations to help with curriculum, decorations, etc. Look for the red mega-phone on the VBS table by the church office and make your contribution there, or mark an envelope VBS Donation and drop it in the offering plate! If you are a VBS VOLUNTEER, and you were unable to make the meeting on June 7,

put your email and cell # by your name on the clipboard!

NEW REQUEST We need empty paper

towel rolls! Please bring them to the box

next to the table!

St. Luke’s Midwest AutoFest “Cruisin’ For Christ” Ever seen a 1951 Frazer auto, or a 1951 Aston Martin (pre-James Bond)? If you were at the 2016 St. Luke’s Midwest AutoFest (Cruisin’ for Christ) car show sponsored by St. Luke’s you’d have seen these and other unusual vehicles. God truly blessed this event last year and enabled St. Luke’s to become better known to the communities we serve. With God’s blessing, we hope to duplicate that success this year at our second MidwestAuto Fest. Again, we will be holding the show on the Saturday of Montgomery Fest, August 12, so save that date on your calendars. We will display our vehicles across the street from South Moon BBQ in the Old Mill. South Moon plans to be open this year, so we should have more people in the area. We will need volunteers to help with this event and will have a sign-up sheet at the information desk. Meanwhile, if you know any car buffs who would like to display their vehicles, we have flyers available to distribute (see reverse). Feel free to pass them out. Last year our display featured hot rods, sports cars, race cars, unique vehicles, and more conventional sedans and hardtops. So, the field is wide open to trucks and tractors as well as cars. Stay tuned for more information as the date draws closer. If you have questions or are interested please contact Al Krodel (630-470-1808), Barry Croall (630-664-8348), or Chris Hansen in the church office.
