Treatment system overview

• Continuous flow system using electrolysis

– Filter and membrane free

– No added chemicals, reagents, flocculants or clarifiers

• Removes the widest array of contaminants

• Power saving up to 80%

• Opex cost saving up to 80%

• A 40’ container can treat up to 0.2MGD

Technology overview: How the process works

Effluent Enters Clean water in end chamber

Chemical reactions occur in middle chambers

Page 4: Soneera water presentation updated

Technical Aspects

• Uses a bubble – ion barrier to remove pollutants

• Pollutants automatically removed during operation

• Removes most pollutants better than DAF

• Removal rates typically 95% to 98%

• Power usage depends upon pollutant loading, typically 0.3 to 0.7kWh/m3

• Fast throughput, typically 1hr from polluted to cleaned water

• Fully scalable

Small footprint - 125,000 GPD

Page 15: Soneera water presentation updated

Skid Mounted – highly mobile

Page 16: Soneera water presentation updated

Unique Features

• No filters to clog; No chemicals to pollute

• 98% of contaminants removed

• Very low energy use - typically 20kW for 275,000 GPD

• Can be solar powered

• Automated process with Remote monitoring

• Scalable from 10,000G/D to over 10MG/D

• Complements other water treatment processes

• Very small footprint – 0.2MGD fits into a shipping container

• Less than 5% of the water is removed with the waste

• The waste is inert, non leachable; suitable for landfill or fertilizer

• Highly suitable system for environmentally sensitive sites

Australian Systems

1. Operational mine site in Sydney. Tasked to clean stormwater and mining effluent before it enters the National Park and drinking water catchment. Delivering 350,000gal/day

2. Small 20’ system at the Adelaide sewage plant

3. Other sites include: a. Providing drinking water in National parksb. Providing drinking water in two State prisonsc. Providing drinking water in a large seasonal caravan parkd. Cleaning ballast water from a Sydney Marinae. Recycling water used to clean council garbage trucksf. Providing primary and secondary treatment for a food manufacturer
