Introduction
Skype CRM Connector allows connecting Skype to CRM system, which enables CRM users to instantly load their Skype contact list within CRM system.
You can directly call to the Skype contacts by clicking Skype Call button available in CRM.

Calling to Skype users directly from CRM.
Can reuse the Skype contacts in CRM
Notes:
Make sure that you are connected to Skype
Make sure that Time Zone of your server and CRM server is same (On premise).
For online server Time Zone of your server must be same as your internet time zone.
Installation of Setup:
Download the CRMSkypeConnect Setup
Install the setup as per instruction
Double click the shortcut created by CRMSkypeConnect setup

To get the Organization URL go to Setting → Customization → Developer Resources

Click on Organization Service URL .

Copy the URL from Address Bar.

Now paste the copied URL into Organization URL Textbox.
Do not forget to enter User Name and Password of your CRM server.
After entering your credentials double click on Transfer Contacts button.

After clicking Transfer Contacts button a message box will generate to ensure you
have logged in into Skype.
If you are sure then click on OK else click Cancel and Login to Skype.
Once you click OK a pop up will buzz upon your Skype which will ask to Allow/Deny access to SkypeConnectorForCRM
Generally, if you do not know what the program that wants to use Skype, deny him access. You can always change your mind later via Tools>Options>Advanced>Advanced
Settings>Manage other programs access to Skype.

When you are logged in into Skype then it will show you message “We are now attached to Skype” else show you message “Skype not attached”.
Click OK .

Wait for a few seconds when your contacts are being transferred.
When your contact is transferring a progress bar will automatically starts.

Once your contact list is transferred into CRM system a message box show you a message
that “Successfully contacts transferred to CRM”.

To get confirm whether your contacts are transferred into CRM or not, go to Workplace →
skypeContacts entity.
Click on refresh button red marked in right side.
Now you can see the entire contact list is generated.

Click any of the new_skypecontact entity whom you want to call .
Click on Skype Call button available in the form ribbon.

A pop up will be generated which will ask you “Do you want to go ahead”. If you do not
want to call then click Cancel else OK.

When you click OK, call will transfer to your Skype contact.

Installation of Customization File
Download the zip file
Navigate to Settings >> Solutions in MS Dynamics CRM 2011
Click on Import
Browse the skypeCall_1_0_0_0_managed.zip file from the disk and click on Next to get guided through the wizard.

Click Next to proceed with the import process.

Solution will start importing into the system.

After a successful import close the import wizard.

Navigate back to the parent solution screen. Click on Publish All Customization to apply the solution changes to the application.
