Program Highlights

The Unquiet Library continued to participate in the Teens’ Top 10 voting sponsored by YALSA during September.

The Unquiet Library celebrated Banned Books Week 2010 with special displays celebrating intellectual freedom and challenged books.

We celebrated the arrival of a new book shipment consisting of student requests for pleasure and informational reading.

The Unquiet Library enjoyed a special visit from Judy Serritella, Ed.S., Coordinator of Library Media Services from the Georgia Department of Education.

The Google Sites are readily accessible and are easy to manipulate by the students. The Google Sites will provide the students with a platform to share their projects with others. Additionally, I feel the students will put more effort into their assignment knowing others will be viewing their work. Shawn McClellan Career Tech teacher
