DEAR 11TH STUDENTS IN THIS TASK YOU WILL:

Activate your background (previous) knowledge on a topic using visual aids and brainstorming strategies .

Interpret a simple text related to a current topic.

Be able to report information of a text under some conditions.

Use vocabulary in context with a specific purpose.

Justify personal ideas framed on a topic and supported by strong arguments.

Answer the following questions in your portfolio What words would you use to replace the following: zone, facts,

maybe , children, produce, pollute, absorb in the text ? (You can use wordreference.com English synonyms)

What do you think children say after the museum visit? Do you know any similar museum in Colombia? Where? (Look for

information)

Compare your answers looking at the text and with a friend .
