CONFIRMATIONS The Sacrament of Confirmation is an important moment in the life of the parish. This year the preparation has been so different for the Faith Formation children. The classes have been done on-line with the parents and children picking up study materials on a regular basis. In fact, the parents or guardians are more involved in the preparation process than in previous years. Bishop Cotta desires that the whole family needs to be catechized not just the children. Families that study the faith and come to Mass together are much more likely to continue to practice their Catholic faith. They are also much more likely to remain committed to the Sacrament of Marriage. These families are also the ones that oc-casionally have a son or daughter choose the priesthood or reli-gious life. Let's earnestly pray that these young people and their families grow in their walk with Jesus Christ and service of his people. Faithfully, Fr. Patrick Walker

CONFIRMACIONES El Sacramento de la Confirmación es un momento importante en la vida de la parroquia. Este año la preparación ha sido muy diferente para los niños de Formación en la Fe. Sacred Heart Church, Turlock is seeking a full-time maintenance position with benefits . The qualifications for this position is to perform preventive maintenance to buildings and grounds to minimize plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating and air conditioning system failures, carry out some carpentry work, repair and replace general hardware, some painting, be able to troubleshoot general problems and oversees the completion of needed repairs to buildings as well as other duties as assigned. A high school diploma or equivalent is suggested. A minimum of two years experience with a variety of maintenance tools, equipment, and procedures. Must have a valid driver’s license. Con María, la madre del Señor y de la Iglesia, pido especial-mente por las intenciones del Papa y de nuestros obispos para este mes. I offer You my prayers, thoughts, words, actions, joys, and sufferings in union with Your Son Jesus’ Heart, who continues to offer Himself in the Eucharist for the salvation of the world. May the Holy Spirit, who guid-ed Jesus, be my guide and my strength today so that I may witness to Your love. With Mary, the mother of our Lord and of the Church, I pray espe-cially for this month’s intentions as proposed by the Holy Father. Amen
