We are so grateful for the support of our exhibitors and sponsors. After being forced to postpone our 2020 show, we were still able to pull it off in July, thanks to our devoted exhibitors and hard working committee. After considering the results of our exhibitor survey, we will go back to our March dates for 2021.

Once again, we will offer Saddlebred and Friesian classes. And for the first time, we will offer a full section of Open Dressage, for which exhibitors will be eligible for lifetime WDAA points. We will use the Mustang Arena for the dressage classes on Saturday.

Be sure to check out the Pro-Am Challenge Performance Jackpot. It could be your chance to take home $1,000 in jackpot winnings! What a fun class it will be!

IMPORTANT EXHIBITOR INFORMATION

ARENA POLICY: There will be no lunging at all in the warm up arena whenever a session is going on, and 30 minutes before any session. Please use alternate space for lunging whenever possible.

ARRIVALS: Horses will be allowed in to the show grounds, and stalls will be available at 8:00 am on Monday, March 15. Per facility rules, stalls must be vacated by noon, on Sunday July 12th.

ARENA RAIL BANNERS: For $100, we will print a 5’ X 4’ banner that will be displayed on the inside of the ring for all to see. Call Sandy for more info!

BEDDING: Bedding must be purchased through the horse show office, not the feed store at the rate of $9.50 per bag. We try to make it easy for you. Just let our show manager, Sandy Sessink know how many bags you need, and they will be waiting for you at your stalls when you arrive. Yes, just call 248-207-4956 to order. If you would like your stalls pre-bedded, we will sign you up for the Pro-Service with Elite Stall Mats. This can all be charged to your show office open account. Easy.

CAMPING: As a convenience to our exhibitors, Expo Square maintains an RV Park. Reservations can be made by calling the RV Park Attendant, (918) 744-1113, ext. 2154, or a reservation form can be downloaded from their website at exposquare.com/rv park.

BOX SEATS: As indicated on the Sponsorship Form, box seats come with your sponsorship at certain levels. Anyone who would like to purchase box seats separate from a sponsorship may do so on the entry form. The price is $20 per seat.

CLASS HOLD POLICY: Class holds must be requested no less than one hour prior to the start of the session. Anyone with special requests for more than the standard two minute hold must make special arrangement with the show manager no less than two hours before the session. Once a hold is granted, it will not be lifted.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: 1) All horses entering the grounds must be accompanied by documentation of Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus (Rhinopneumonitis) vaccinations within six months prior to entering the stables. Horses not in compliance with this rule may be required to leave the grounds upon request by Competition Management. 2) All horses entering the grounds must also be accompanied by documentation of a negative Coggins test for EIA within the previous 12 months. 3) All out-of-state horses entering the grounds must be accompanied by documentation of Interstate Health Papers dated no more than 10 days before the show.

HOST HOTEL: The Route 66 Morgan Classic Horse Show has contracted with the Osage Casino Hotel for a special rate of $69 per night for our exhibitors. A block of rooms has been reserved, but will be released on March 1st. So, please make your reservations as soon as you can. Call (877) 246-8777 and ask for the Route 66 Morgan horse show rate.

PRIZES: Trophies and 6 ribbons will be awarded in all qualifying classes and championships.

RULES: The Route 66 Morgan Classic will be run in accordance with USEF rules, but is not a member show. All disputes will be settled by the show manager. All decisions made by the judge in the show ring will be final.

STALL MATS: Elite Stall Mats will be our provider. Please call Sandy Sessink at 248-207-4956 to set up your stall matting needs. We will just add the fee of $80 for each stall to be matted to your bill at the show office. Elite Pro Service, which includes disinfecting and bedding of your stalls is $25 extra.

63. Carriage Pleasure Driving Dog Class - Judged primarily on suitability of the dog to serve as

a companion (maximum one dog per vehicle). To be judged both ways in the arena at a walk, slow trot and working trot. The dog should be standing, lying down or seated on the vehicle or should run behind, beside or at the axle of the vehicle. The dog must be under control at all times. The dog must not be led on the ground from the vehicle or be restrained by being tied to the vehicle, driver or passenger. The driver should not hold the dog, and the dog should not interfere with the driver in any way. To be judged 60% on the suitability of the dog to serve as a companion. 30% on the performance, manners and way of going of the horse(s) 10% on the overall impression of the turnout, including the dog. The spectators, in the form of applause, will judge this class. The judge will stand behind each entry and raise a hand, asking the spectators to respond.

ordinances regarding the Covid-19 pandemic,

with a close eye on the suggested practices of

the JLC and USEF. Please cooperate with us

Academy Division Rules

Riders in this division are students who are currently taking lessons and are to be judged on their basic riding skills. The age of the rider must be listed on the entry blank. Headers for lead line riders must be at least 18 years of age. Horses that are used are to be lesson horses (see horse eligibility). Horses are not to be judged.

Rider Eligibility: A rider may not enter in any other division at the show. A rider who has shown in a regular division or in a full riding suit at any show is prohibited from participating further in the Academy Division, with the exception of the Show Rider Classes. Once a rider has competed at any level wearing a full suit, they are ineligible to compete in academy classes at any point thereafter; the rider can however show in Show Rider Classes in the season(s) following the season in which the rider showed wearing a full suit. Horse Eligibility: All horses/ponies used in Academy classes must be used regularly in lesson programs. All breeds are welcome. Horses used in Academy classes can cross enter into the regular horse show classes with different riders. Equipment: Horses may be shown in work bridles (martingales allowed), Pelham bridles, or full
