THE GUIRO-DIOUGA PROPERTY

The Mining License, 65 km², lies within the Bouroum-

Yalogo belt in northeastern Burkina Faso. The property

is positioned immediately East of the regional Markoye

fault zone lineament, which is adjacent to significant gold

deposits including as f.ex. Essakane, Taparko, Sanbrado, Kiaka

GUIRO MINE : an UNDERGROUND OPERATION

Guiro is an underground operation. The mined orebody is a steeply dipping, E-W oriented, shear-hosted,

high grade gold quartz vein and is striking over several 100 of m within a granodiorite intrusive.

Based on the existing core drill results (irregular and large defin. drill grid) an estimated Potential Resource was

calculated of around 100,000 oz ; an re-evaluation of the resource is ongoing

One single shaft providing access to the underground mine,

used for personnel entering-leaving mine and hauling ore.

The primary mining method is longitudinal longhole stoping,

with delayed waste rockfill. Ore is mined using pneumatic

jaglegs and blasting. Ore is manually shoveled in wagons

and transported to the shaft and surface.

Average ore production of 64 tpd (over last 6 months).

DABIA SOUTH EXPLORATION LICENSE

The Dabia South Exploration License was acquired

by Komet Mali in June 2016.

The property is located in western Mali, in the

southeastern corner of the Kedougou-Kenieba

Paleoproterozoic inlier, well known for world class

gold deposits as f.ex. in Mali, Sadiola, Loulo, Taba-

koto, Gounkoto, Fekola all of them mined by major

companies as Anglo-Ashanti, Iamgold, Randgold, Endeavour, B2Gold etc…

Combined historic exploration results (soil geochemistry surveys – Gravimetric Survey) and extensive gold

digger fields put in evidence an area in the southern part of the Dabia property showing an interesting

Komet planned and executed two drill campaigns (1st Qter 2017 and March, 2018) of

shallow RC Holes (av. 65 m vertical depth) ; the results reveal a significant mineralization

system with good grade continuity.

Drill maps show two, north-south oriented, orebodies, within an estimated

+/- 80m thick saprolite layer. Orebodies seem to plunge slightly to the south.
