The school for Grade K through Grade 12 was originally built in Ashmont in 1957. School faces one public street. It isunder the jurisdiction of St. Paul Education Regional Division No. 1. Mechanical Summary: The building is heated by 5 hot water boilers (located in 2 separate mechanical rooms) with perimeter radiation, gasfired furnaces in portable classrooms, rooftop gas fired heat / vent units. Ventilation is provided from the central airhandlers and rooftop units. The classrooms in the north end of the school have no Mechanical ventilation - onlyOpenable windows. The following are recommendations: In general, most Mechanical systems are in acceptable condition for their age.Items requiring attention, may be classified as normal routine maintenance. Overall Mechanical system is in acceptable (4) condition.

Electrical Summary:An 800A, 120/208V, 3 phase, 4 wire service has been provided for the elementary school and a 600A, 120/208 V, 3phase 4 wire service has been provided for the secondary school. Both services are obtained from separate on-sitepad mounted transformers. The switchboards are located in the respective schools and have spare capacity for theaddition of future breakers. Lighting is of the fluorescent type utilizing T8 lamps and electronic ballasts. The fire alarmsystem is of the addressable type and was installed in 2009, replacing the old one. Overall, the electrical systems are in good condition.

Fire alarm system is the product of Simplex 4100U. It is an addressable system and is complete with heat detectors,smoke detectors, pull stations, and bells and strobes. Main control panel is located in the Secondary school mainentrance with a remote annunciator in the elementary school. Both schools share the system The system is externallymonitored and annually tested.
