Following the advertising of some primary schools as being available for providing private nursery care, which nursery providers have expressed an interest in providing a service in those primary schools; which schools they have expressed an interest in using to provide a nursery service; and what hourly charges those providers have stated they will levy in Department of Education and Children schools?

5. The Hon. Member of Council (Mr Butt) to ask the Minister for Education and

Children –

What plans his Department has to provide pre-school nursery provision in the areas where there is no such provision?

6. The Hon. Member of Council (Mr Butt) to ask the Minister for Education and

Children –

What powers, either by statute or regulation, his Department has to ensure that the new providers of pre-school nurseries will provide an education service at the level presently provided and that their staff will be suitably qualified to provide such an education service?

7. The Hon. Member for Ramsey (Mr Singer) to ask the Minister for Education

and Children –

What recent consideration the Department has given to imposing a four-day week on schools in order to make budget savings?

8. The Hon. Member for Ramsey (Mr Singer) to ask the Minister for

Infrastructure –

Further to his answer to Question 11 in Tynwald Court on 13th December 2011, whether he has met with senior management of Flybe regarding – (a) their unlawful retention of airport passenger duty and other

duties when a flight is not taken by the passenger; and (b) Flybe policy to charge a large administration fee when the APD

is returned to the passenger?

How many civil cases have had judgement given to the claimant where the Court Order for damages and costs has not been paid in each of the past five years; how much in each case was awarded in (a) damages; and (b) costs; what mechanisms are available for enforcing such judgements; and what plans there are to reform the system of enforcement of judgements?
