9th April 2015: COMING BACK FROM EASTER/HOLYWEEK
IN CLASS:
KERRY shows a power point presentation about Easter in Commonwealth Countries. She has
some questions about the presentation. .
You will get positive or negative marks according with your participation or not.
Discussion: The Holyweek

- Religious processions, do you consider them a cultural or a religious manifestation?
- Do you think they are good for our city? Therefore, what are the advantages and
disadvantages of this event?

REVISING HOMEWORK:

The next class, we will talk about the problems of young people working in Spain. Make a list
of the possible vocabulary you may need. It will help you if you look at the suggestions given
on the next page.

KERRY will prepare a power point presentation about this date
DISCUSSION: What are the problems of young people in Spain now? (Suggestions).
You will get positive or negative marks according with your participation or not.
Jobs: Enough jobs? A job according to your studies/qualified jobs? Well paid? Full time
job/part time jobs? Temporary/permanent jobs
Labour conditions: better or worse labour conditions? Working with or without
employment contract?
Self-employment/freelance: easy and possible?
After university: working in Spain or abroad? Easy or not to become independent?
HOMEWORK:
The next class you will have to talk about the kind of job you would like to have and why.
Prepare some notes about it. You will be asked about the skills you need to get that kind of

Record a tape of 1 minute. Use your computer using: grabadora de sonidos (Microsoft).
Theme: healthy eating. You can highlight whatever you decide.
4th and 11th May 2015
The teacher will be revising students notebooks.
Every day in class, you had to do homework and take notes
about vocabulary.
Kerry and Isabel wrote many sentences on the blackboard you
should have copied.
All these notes will be revised and have a mark for the last term.
