P&C News
Welcome back! Just a quick note to let everyone know that our P&C recently had its first meeting. It
was pleasing to see faces old and new. Much of the meeting revolved around catching up on business
arising from the end of last year (eg. where to with our major project that involves the pond area!)
and confirming dates for events such as our welcome BBQ (Friday, March 8 at 5.00pm) and Bonfire
(Saturday, June 29)
Mrs Houghton gave us a good run down of class organisation for the year, and a report of our success
at the Tregeagle swimming carnival that had taken place just that day.
Please note that our next meeting is our Annual General Meeting to be held at 7.30pm on Monday,
March 11. This involves election of office bearers for 2019 (new nominations welcome), and will be
followed by a regular meeting.
Looking forward to seeing you at our 2019 welcome BBQ.

Parent/ Carer Survey
Dear Parents/ Carers,
Your voice in our school does matter. Please take time to complete our survey and return to school by Friday
15 March. The survey focuses on two domains within the school environment:
*Curriculum- The school’s curriculum provides an integrated approach to quality teaching, curriculum planning
and delivery.
* Assessment- Consistent school wide practices for assessment are used to monitor, plan and report on
student learning across the curriculum. ‘In school’ assessments are integrated into teaching practice in all
classrooms, confirming that students learn what is taught.
Please tick the box that you agree with for each statement. You may add further comments.
1a. Curriculum Provision- The school’s curriculum provides high expectations for student’s learning. The
curriculum is enhanced through leaning alliances with other schools and organisations where useful.
