Cultivation & Stewardship without (yet)
another expensive event
What is cultivation & stewardship?Cultivation: to promote or improve the growth of
something (relationship) by labor and attention and to develop or improve by education or training
Stewardship: the conducting, supervising, or managing of something ; especially : the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care
Cultivation is more about the process by which you improve and grow the relationship with a donor.
Stewardship is the follow up and thank you after a gift is made. It should not be a one time thing and in many ways can be included in the cultivation process.
