Tulsa Expo Square Facility Rules to RememberMove-in begins at 2 p.m. CST on Tuesday, July 8. No one will be allowed to unload horses or move into stalls prior to this time.- All trailers must be parked in the camping area or desig-nated trailer parking areas.- Manure must be dumped in the approved and designat-ed areas.- Ponies are not to be bathed anywhere but the wash rack areas.- Bikes, scooters, golf carts, etc. must be parked on the street or designated parking areas only, not in the entry-ways to stalling areas or exhibit areas.- No practice cones allowed in the make-up area or holding pens.- All dogs must be on a leash (six foot maximum). Abso-lutely no dogs are allowed in any of the buildings.- No smoking allowed in any of the barns or buildings.- Stickers on Stalls and Stall Card Holders: The use of stickers on our stalls and stall card holders is prohibited. The most common form of defacement we have seen is screwing through or

stapling into our poly siding.-Stall Electric: Blocking access to, moving from grade level, and covering electric boxes is prohibited by the National Electric Code. Please inform your exhibitors.- Propane, Gas, and Bottled Butane: The use of propane, gas, bottle butane, and any open flames are prohibited in any building/structure on the Fairgrounds. Please inform your exhibitors.- Freight Office: Our freight office hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:30-11 a.m. and 12:30-4 p.m. Please inform all your exhibitors/venders of the shipping address and how to properly address their package. Yale ConstructionCurrently, there is a construction project on Yale, which is a main roadway to the Fairgrounds. In an effort to prepare you and your exhibitors, below are few friendly tips and details. Please call us if you would like to discuss in further detail.- The construction is currently taking place between 21st and 31st and is down to just two lanes.- The construction prohibits north bound traffic from mak-ing a left turn onto 21st street, so all traffic north bound on Yale wishing to enter the Fairgrounds must go down to 15th street to make a left turn and enter in Gates 7 or 5.- Our recommendation is all traffic from south of 31st access the Fairgrounds from either Harvard or Sheridan, whichever is more convenient, to avoid the construction delays on Yale.

SUPREME CHAMPION

SUPREME CHAMPION

In  December  of  2001  we  purchased  RBR  Tsunami  Buns  as  a  yearling  from  the  Bagwell’s  of  River  Bend  Ranch  in  Oklahoma.    My  mom  bought  him  as  a  pony  for  her  to  start  and  hopefully  my  sister   or   I  would   show  him  when  he  was   older.    My  mom   rode  him  as  a  three  year  old  at  all  of  the  Iowa  shows  and  the  Midwest  Regional  that  year.

The  next  year  he  became  my  sister  Morgan’s  junior  pony.    He  had  a  great  year  with  her  by  placing  5th  in  the  National  year  end  awards  in  Junior  Hunter  Under  Saddle,  and  in  helping  her  win  a  multiple  pony  High  Point  Saddle  in  Hinckley,  MN.

In  the  spring  of  2007  we  sold  my  senior  pony,  and  Tsunami  became  mine   to   show.    We   didn’t   attend  many  POA   shows   our

to   some   small   hunter/jumper   shows   and   even   tried   some   cross  country.    I  soon  found  out  that  Tsunami  loved  to  jump,  and  so  did  I.

The   next   year   we  were   ready   to   go   for   the   POA   shows,   it

non-timed  13-18  for  the  Iowa  year-end  awards.    In  2009  and  2010  we  continued  to  show  and  really  started  focusing  on  reining  and

western  riding.    A  highlight  of  2009  was  winning  all  four  of  the  jumping   classes   at   the  Midwest   Regional.     During   the   summer  of   2010  we   decided   to   start   gaming  Tsunami   and   try   to   get   his  supreme  by  the  time  I  aged  out  in  2011.

end  on.    Tsunami  placed  in  many  classes,  including  showmanship,  reining,  and  two  top  three  placing’s  in  the  fences  classes.    But  our

2009,  but  hadn’t  placed.    This  time  we  were  back  and  ready  to  go!    We  ended  up  placing  in  all  four  events  and  ending  up  3rd  overall.

But  our  year  was  not  over,  we  heard  the  Reichert  Celebration  counted  as  regional  points,  so  down  to  Fort  Worth  we  went.    We  ended   up   placing   in   many   classes   and   ended   up   Reserve   high  point   13-18   girl   one   pony/one   rider.    We   also   received   enough  points  to  achieve  Tsunami’s  ROM  Timed,  making  him  a  Supreme  Champion.    That  was  my  very  last  POA  show  with  him.

and   I   am   truly  a   lucky  girl   to  have  gotten   to   show  such  a  great  pony!
