Artist and why you chose them; We chose Tulisa as our artist, at the time of choosing the song she was number one in the charts and very current and relevant and the song choice particularly fit to our age groups and us as

individuals. We are the target audience for her music and enjoy listening to the songs she produces as our music

preference is Pop/R&B.

She hasn't released a solo album on her own but she has released her first single after leaving N-duz called young.

Our target audience we are aiming at are girls from the age of early teens to early twenties as this is the audience she can relate most with from her music and her persona

and personality fits this target audience.

Concept idea for CD

The draft for our digipak is to be pretty similar to Tulisa’s and other artists in this genre which is usually just a shot of the artist with their name and the title of the album. In this instance we have chosen to do a close up of the artist which will promote her more. The handwriting is very girly and looks hand written which applies to the conventions you would associate with this genre of music.

As in most music videos in this genre they have a shot of the artist on her own singing the lyrics so we are having the initial shot of meeting the artist as close up and long shots so you can establish the artist as her person and then have a mid shot of her singing with a plain background to show a contrast from the artist to the storyline of the music video.
