Andy Warhol• Andy Warhol (August 6, 1928 – February 22, 1987) was an
American artist who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art.
• His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture and advertisement that flourished by the 1960s.
• He took still life Polaroids of everyday items and began to make paintings of iconic American objects such as dollar bills, mushroom clouds, electric chairs, Campbell‘s Soup Cans and Coca-Cola bottles.

Irving Penn• Irving Penn (June 16, 1917 – October 7, 2009) was an
American photographer known for his fashion photography, portraits, and still lifes.
• Penn's approach to the still life evolved over decades; from the 1930s onwards, he arranged everyday objects to create assemblages, which transcended their origins and original purpose to become conceptual works of art.
