A Descriptive – analytical method was employed. This study examines different features of the researchers such as stage of their academic studies (B.A. M.A., PH.D.), their sex, the language of thesis, type of thesis and its topic. Undoubtedly, such studies will inform researchers in the field of Arabic language and literature in order to avoid repeated investigations. The results of the study revealed that the teachers and students of Arabic language and literature at the University of Isfahan pay attention to academic research and literature. Pathology of Theses in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature in University of Isfahan in its Half a Century Activities

(A Descriptive – Analytical Study)

Abstract

Considering the importance of understanding the history of researches in every field and the necessity of the pathology of these researches to enhance knowledge, in the present study, it is intended to study the theses in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature of University of Isfahan. A Descriptive – analytical method was employed.

This study examines different features of the researchers such as stage of their academic studies (B.A. M.A., PH.D.), their sex, the language of thesis, type of thesis and its topic.

Undoubtedly, such studies will inform researchers in the field of Arabic language and literature in order to avoid repeated investigations.

The results of the study revealed that the teachers and students of Arabic language and literature at the University of Isfahan pay attention to academic research and literature.
