Objective
This presentation will introduce you to three parts of speech: NOUNS, VERBS and ADJECTIVES. You will then have a chance to practice what you have learned.

Nouns
A noun names anything that we can hear, see, touch, taste or smell. Nouns are the names of

Verbs
These are action words. They tell what something is doing.
As the line in a famous song says…Verb, that’s what happening!
It is also a state of being
Am – I am happyIs – He is sad
Are – We are glad.
Examples of Verbs

ADJECTIVES
These are words that describe nouns. They tell the color, shape, texture, sound, smell and taste of an object. They give you more information about the person, place or thing that your are describing.
