 2008  “  MRI  Update  in  Neurological  and  Orthopaedic  Imaging  “  with  Stephan  Pomeranz  as  visiting  president  2010  “Breast  CORE  Meeting”  with  Lazlo  Tabar  as  visiting  president.  2012  “Update  in  Abdominal  and  Urogenital  Imaging”  with  Pablo  Ros  as  visiting  president  2013  "Update  in  Breast  Imaging"  with  Debra  Ideka  as  visiting  president,

GENERAL  INFORMATION    

Meeting  Location    The  Update  in  osteoarticulat  Imaging  Meeting  will  take  place  at  the    Congress  Centre  Oud  Sint-­‐Jan,    11-­‐13  September  2014  in  Bruges,  Belgium.    

How  to  get  to  Bruges:    By  air:  Belgium’s  National  Airport  is  situated  in  Brussels-­‐Zaventem,  only  60  minutes  away  from  Bruges  and  has  flights  from  over  70  international  destinations,  operated  by  more  than  140  international  and  regional  airline  companies.  

The  other  Belgian  airports,  Ostend,  Antwerp  and  Charleroi,  serve  several  European  destinations  and  have  easy  and  direct  connections  to  Bruges.    By  train:  Bruges,  situated  on  the  important  railway  network  London-­‐Brussels-­‐Cologne  is  accessible  by  direct  trains  from  the  main  Belgian  cities  and  from  various  European  capitals.    Thanks  to  its  central  location  in  Flanders,  and  just  45  min  away  from  Brussels  Midi  Station,  Bruges  is  very  easily  accessible  by  train  from  all  Belgian  and  European  Cities.  

The   high-­‐speed   trains,   Eurostar   and   Thalys,   take   you   to   Bruges   in   only   2   hours   from   Paris   and   in  about  3  hours  from  London,  Amsterdam  and  Cologne.  There  is  a  direct  train  from  Zaventem  (Brussels  Airport)  to  Ghent  (St.  Pieters),  where  fast  connections  are  available  every  20  minutes  to  Bruges.    By  car:  Bruges   is   located   approximately   80   km   west   of   Brussels.   As   Belgium   has   the   densest   highway  network  in  Europe,  Bruges  can  easily  be  reached  by  car  from  all  over  Europe.  Bruges  is  accessible  via  the  E40  motorway  Brussels-­‐Ostend,  take  EXIT  nr.  8,  automatically  you  will  reach  the  expressway  N31,  around  Bruges.  From  Brussels  /  Ghent  /  Antwerp  /  Amsterdam  Motorway  E  40  From  Paris  via  Lille         Motorway  E  17  From  Calais           Motorway  E  40   How  to  get  to  Oud  Sint-­‐Jan   By  car    The  Oud  Sint-­‐Jan  site  is  located  in  the  historical  centre  of  Bruges.  The  centre  is  easily  accessible  via  the  E40  Brussels  -­‐  Ostend.  You  take  exit  8  and  drive  until  the  second  traffic  lights  where  you  turn  right.  Then  you  follow  the  signs  to  the  railway  station  of  Bruges  (passing  by  two  roundabouts).  Drive  under  the  railway  bridge.When  reaching  the  forefront  of  the  station  you  follow  the  signs  of  "Oud  Sint-­‐Jan",  to  the  left.  Via  Oostmeers  and  Zonnekemeers  you  will  arrive  at  the  centre.    The  site  has  parking  facilities.  GPS:  Zonnekemeers

 General  The  exhibition  space  will  be  available  as  ʺ″SPACE  ONLYʺ″,  which  means  that  the  booth  will   be   without   any   prefabricated   walls,   installations,   furniture,   electricity/water  supplies,  carpet  and  furniture  or/and  technical  supplies  and  facilities.    The  exhibitor  shall  personally  take  care  of  the  set-­‐up  and  installation  of  the  booth.    Each   of   the   booths  will   be   numbered   by   the  Organising   Committee.     Three  weeks  before  the  “Move  in”,  the  exhibitor  will  receive  a  map  of  all  the  booths.    Allocation  of  stands  King  Conventions  will  allocate  the  stands  after  having  received  the  application  forms.  The  exhibition  space  will  be  assigned  on  a  first-­‐come,  first-­‐served  basis.    King   Conventions   reserves   the   right   to   re-­‐allocate   and   include   additional  

  stands.    

Insurance  It   is   the   responsibility   of   each   exhibiting   company   to   adequately   insure   their   stand  and  the    goods  on  display  against  theft  and  damage.

MDEON  VISA  application  The  MDEON  VISA  application  will  be  submitted  on  4  August  2014,  companies  who  send  in  their  application  form  before  3  August  2014  will  be  enclosed  in  this  application.  The  MDEON  approval  and  VISA  number  will  be  communicated  upon  reception.
