Paramount Family Campout The Paramount Family Campout will be a unique event to experience fun, family, and fellowship. Bring a camper, or a tent, and cam- pout on the church lawn! We will have food, games, and worship! Meet us in the Red Park- ing Lot on September 20 starting at 5:00pm! Hot dogs, smores, and continental breakfast will be provided by the Recreation Ministry! Bring other snacks for you and your family! For more information, contact the Activity Center at 806-350-7234. Preschool Ministry Volunteers Needed ETC and KidSize Worship teachers are needed for the 11am service. Volunteers will serve once per quarter. We also need Sunday School teach- ers for 2-year-olds. You will serve with a partner and with a committed team of teachers each Sunday from 9:45-10:45am. For information, contact Joy Cole or Mikka Clear in the office. Mission Trip Kristi Greenway and Donna Dorman Madi- son are in Quito, Ecuador, with Compassion International working with their Child Survival Program. They will return September 5. Please pray for them. Wednesday Activities Resume Sept. 4 Paramount’s regular Wednesday activities resume for the fall semester on September 4. The Family Fellowship Meal is served in the Fel- lowship Hall beginning at 5:15pm. At 6:30pm, programs for preschoolers, elementary -age children and preteens occur in their respective areas. Doors open at 6:20pm. Middle school discipleship begins at 6:15pm in Building C, and at 7:00pm all students (grades 7-12) meet in Room C150 for 626, a time of worship and Bible study. All programs conclude at 8:00pm. The LEAF ministry and Wednesday Night Adult LifeGroups also begin at 6:30pm. See the back page for a list of classes offered this semester. My Hope America   During services last weekend, plans were shared for a nation-wide emphasis called My Hope America with Billy Graham. Relationship Support Group Paramount has a Relationship Support Group that resumes meeting on Friday, September 6. The group, led by Alan and Jennifer Gertonson, meets every other Friday night at 6:30pm in Room A202. This semester, participants will be working through Jay Adams’ book, “The Handbook of Church Discipline,” which guides our understanding on how to help each other through issues with a focus on grace and res-toration. CareNet Fundraiser Paramount supports the ministry of the CareNet Pregnancy Centers in our area. On Saturday, September 14, CareNet will host their annual Walk Fundraiser. Participants will gather at 6709 Woodward. Registration begins at 8:30am and the walk begins at 9:00am. Pamphlets with walk and sponsor pledge infor-mation are available in church foyers and hall-ways. Pick one up or plan to sponsor someone who is walking.
