BeoreuseThis WET/DRY shaver can be used or wet shaving with shavinglather or or dry shaving. You can use this watertight shaver in theshower and clean it in water.

Usingtheshaver

Caution - The outer oil is very thin and can be damaged i notused correctly. Check that the oil is not damaged beore using theshaver. Do not use the shaver i the oil etc. is damaged as you willcut your skin.

CleaningtheshaverI you clean the shaver with water, do not use salt water or hotwater. Do not soak the shaver in water or a long period o time.Wipe it with a cloth dampened with soapy water. Do not usethinner, benzine or alcohol.

Storingtheshaver

Do not leave this shaver within the reach o small children. Keepthese operating instructions in a sae place.

Start out shaving by applying gentle pressure to your ace.Stretch your skin with your ree hand and move the shaverback and orth in the direction o your beard. You may gentlyincrease the amount o pressure as your skin becomesaccustomed to this shaver. Applying excessive pressure doesnot provide a closer shave.

Usingthetrimmer(ES3833only)Slide the 0/1 switch upwards. Align

the “ ” mark and the “ – ” markon the body with each other. Placeat a right angle to your skin andmove downwards to trim yoursideburns.

1. Remove the protective cap.2. Apply some hand soap to the

outer oil.

3. Turn the shaver on and thenpour some water over the outeroil. (Fig. 1)

4. Turn the shaver o ater 10-20seconds.

5. Remove the oil rame whilepressing the oil rame releasebutton and clean it with runningwater. (Fig. 2)

6. Wipe o any drops o water

with a dry cloth.7. Dry the oil rame and the

shaver completely. (Fig. 3)

Replacingtheouteroil1. Press the oil rame release

button and lit the oil rameupwards as illustrated.

2. Gently push the outer oil in theway as illustrated. Then it willpop up rom the oil rame.(Fig. 2)

3. The new outer oil should beslightly bent and pushed in untilit is hooked in the oil rame.

Replacingtheinnerblade1. Remove the inner blade as

illustrated.Do not touch the edges (metalparts) o the inner blade toprevent injury to your hand.

2. Insert the inner blade until itclicks as illustrated.

Note:Turn the shaver o beorereplacing the outer oil and theinner blade.

Cleaningwiththebrush

1.Clean the inner blade using theshort brush by moving it indirection (A). Clean the outer oil, the shaverbody and the trimmer using thelong brush.

Do not move the short brushin direction (B) as it willdamage the inner blade andaect its sharpness.Do not use the short brush toclean the outer oil.

Replacingbatteries

When the blade speed decreases, this indicates that the batteriesshould be replaced with new ones.1. Bottom o the shaver, turn the battery cover release dial to

“open” position then remove the battery cover. (Fig. 1)2. Remove the old batteries.3. Insert two new AA alkaline batteries. (Fig. 2)

4. Reattach the battery cover and turn the battery cover releasedial to “close” position. (Fig. 3)

Notes:Turn the shaver o beore replacing batteries.Beore replacing the batteries, wipe the shaver ree o moistureto prevent the inside rom getting wet.Do not use a new battery together with an old one.Do not use rechargeable batteries. Doing so may result in theleakage o battery and the malunction.Please make sure that the old batteries are disposed o at an

ofcially assigned location, i there is one in your country.I the shaver will not be used or a long time, please remove thebatteries.

Limpieza de la afeitadoraSi limpia la afeitadora con agua, no utilice agua salada ni caliente. No

sumerja la afeitadora en agua durante mucho tiempo. Séquela con untrapo humedecido con agua jabonosa. No utilice solventes, benzina ni

alcohol.

Guardado de la afeitadora

No deje esta afeitadora al alcance de niños pequeños. Mantenga estasinstrucciones de operación en un lugar seguro.

11 Suelte el botón debloqueo del interruptory deslice el interruptor0/1 hacia arriba.

22 Sujete la afeitadoracomo se muestraanteriormente yaféitese.

Comience a afeitar ejerciendo una suave presión sobre su cara.Estire su piel con su mano libre y desplace la afeitadora hacia atrásen la dirección de su barba. Puede ejercer mayor presión siempreque lo haga suavemente a medida que su piel se acostumbra a estaafeitadora. Ejercer presión excesiva no logra un afeitado mayor.

•

Uso de la recortadora (sólo ES3833)Deslice el interruptor 0/1 hacia arriba.

Alinee mutuamente las marcas “ ” y

“ – ” sobre el cuerpo. Coloque enángulo derecho con su piel y desplacehacia abajo para recortar sus patillas.

1. Quite la tapa protectora.

2. Aplique jabón para manos a la

lámina exterior.

3. Encienda la afeitadora yposteriormente vierta algo de aguasobre la lámina exterior. (Fig. 1)

4. Apague la afeitadora tras 10-20

segundos.5. Remueva el bastidor de la lámina

mientras presiona el botón deliberación del bastidor de la láminay límpielo con agua potable.

6. Limpie todas las gotas de agua conun paño seco.

7. Seque el marco de la lámina y laafeitadora por completo. (Fig. 3)

Sustitución de la láminaexterior

1. Presione el botón de liberación del

bastidor de la lámina y levante elbastidor de la lámina hacia arribade acuerdo a la ilustración.

2. Empuje suavemente la lámina

exterior en la dirección de lailustración. Posteriormente éstaemergerá del bastidor de la lámina.(Fig. 2)

3. El nuevo bastidor de la lámina se

debe doblar mínimamente y

empujar hacia adentro hasta quese enganche en el bastidor de lalámina.

Sustitución de la cuchillainterna.

1. Quite la cuchilla interna de acuerdo

a la ilustración.No toque los bordes (partes

metálicas) de la cuchilla interna

para evitar lesionarse su mano.

•

2. Inserte la cuchilla interna hasta que

se oiga un chasquido de acuerdo ala ilustración.

Aviso:Apague la afeitadora antes de

sustituir la lámina exterior y lacuchilla interna.

•

Limpieza con el cepillo1. Limpie la cuchilla interna

utilizando el cepillo corto,moviéndolo en la dirección (A). Limpie la lámina exterior, el cuerpo

de la afeitadora y la recortadoracon el cepillo largo.

No mueva el cepillo corto en ladirección (B) ya que dañará la

cuchilla interna y afectará su lo.

No utilice el cepillo corto paralimpiar la lámina exterior.

Sustitución de las bateríasCuando disminuye la velocidad de la cuchilla, esto indica que las baterías

se deben sustituir por otras nuevas.1. Parte inferior de la batería, gire el disco de liberación de tapa de la

batería a la posición “open” y posteriormente quite la tapa de la batería.

2. Retire las viejas baterías.3. Inserte dos nuevas baterías alcalinas AA. (Fig. 2)

4. Vuelva a colocar la tapa de la batería y gire el disco de liberación de

tapa de batería a la posición “close”. (Fig. 3)

Avisos:Apague la afeitadora antes de sustituir las baterías.•

Antes de sustituir las baterías, seque la afeitadora para eliminar la

humedad y evitar que se moje el interior.No utilice una batería nueva junto a una vieja.

No utilice baterías recargables. Esto podría resultar en la fuga de la

batería y en mal funcionamiento.

Por favor, asegúrese que las viejas baterías se desechen en algún

lugar ocialmente designado, si es que existe alguno en su país.

Si la afeitadora no se utilizará durante mucho tiempo, por favor quite

las baterías.
