A sample recipe:A sample recipe:Recipe for Singapore’s Favourite Dish : Hainanese Chicken Rice

Ingredients:rice medium-sized chickencinnamon pandan leaves (for stock and rice)salt ginger – shredded finelettuce garlic – shredded fine (a few cloves)

Method1. Cook the chicken in water with pandan leaves and salt to taste for 20-30

minutes, until tender.2. Remove the chicken and let it cool. Keep the stock for rice.3. Cut the chicken into slices with a chopper.4. Fry the shredded ginger and garlic in oil for a few minutes until golden

and fragrant.5. Cook the rice in a rice cooker, together with the seasoning, chicken stock,

cinnamon and pandan leaves.

6. Serve the rice on a plate with a chicken portion, together with some chilli sauce and salad vegetables, such as tomato and cucumber.

Imagine you are watching the cooking show and wanted to prepare a tuna salad dish. You decided to jot down how to prepare the dish into your recipe book.

Write a recipe on how to prepare the tuna salad.

You should refer to the given pictures on page 1 for your recipe.

In your recipe, include the following information:•what dish you are preparing•what ingredients are needed for the dish•what ingredients are needed for the dressing•list the correct steps to be followed in the preparation•what important step must be noted during the preparation

Having reviewed the features of Recipe writing, now it is your turn to go through your group writing to edit them as a group.

Open your group writing in Google Doc. Go to forum to discuss with your friends

about your group writing for 25 minutes. Now, based on your forum discussions, you

may edit your group writing for 25 minutes.
