SIMPLE STEPSMAKE THIS ACHIEVABLE. TAKE ONE STEP AT

TIME

ANNOUNCE TO THE WORLD

MAKE YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE TO FRIENDS, FAMILY & NETWORK

• With Oxfam Trailwalker each team has a target to raise Rs. 50000

Please help me..

HELP OTHERS

• First step lets calculate how many steps and how much distance you cover in one hour

DO THE MATH• Track everything – Steps, Food, Water, Sleep • Only then I can closely monitor and guide you

• Climb slopes and stairs in your daily routine as well. The Mumbai Trailwalker terrain, has slopes that you need to prepare for as well

• Walk at a stretch • Step = Same number done on one day

• Ice and cold water are better than warm water for pain

• Clothing – Lightweight and breathable gear that dries quickly• Carry a change for the journey with support crew

• Wear comfortable hiking shoes; Socks that fit your feet and not too thick• 2-3 litre capacity bottle – Could get a water bladder with drinking tube• Prepare for the weather - Cap for heat, sunglasses, sunscreen, windcheater • Walking poles for support – One per team would help• Day Pack – To carry food, gear and water between the check points• Night Light for the journey – Wide and strong beam• Plan and test everything – Don’t use anything new on the day

• Mind your step while walking – rocky patches, so avoid a twisted ankle injury

• CHI walking is a method of tilting your body forward

• Identify hotspot and tape those areas• Every 10 Kms on the trailwalk, wipe your feet with a dry cloth
